I created this pendulum using a section of a leg from an old table, preserving the soul of the wood and its quiet history. The mosaic that covers it is made of aged Venetian yellow gold and artistic glass, hand-laid following the natural grain, as if light were intertwining with the past held within the material.

For me, this pendulum is an encounter between warmth and clarity: the reclaimed wood carries grounding and memory, while the gold and glass reflect luminous vibrations, vitality, and movement. In its esoteric meaning, it represents the solar energy of awareness, inner expansion, and the ability to illuminate what still lies in shadow. It invites clarity, courage, and a centered, radiant presence.

Each of my mosaics is born from an encounter with the wood: cleaned, brushed, restored, and always protected with an anti-woodworm treatment. Its grain, shapes, colors, and traces of time inspire the subject and guide the composition. The wood does not merely host the mosaic; it becomes an essential part of it, dialoguing with the artwork and completing it with its own story.
