On an old vertical wooden panel, small deer antlers emerge like fragments of wild memory. The mosaic—crafted from Nanto stone, Biancone marble, and antiqued Venetian white gold—weaves together light and matter, earth and sacredness.

The antlers, symbols of inner strength, renewal, and connection to the divine, become a quiet, almost totemic presence. They evoke the natural cycle of life in constant rebirth, and the upward tension toward what is unseen yet deeply felt.
An artwork that blends the ancient gesture of mosaic with the archetypal power of the animal—balanced between root and ascent.

Each of my mosaics is born from an encounter with the wood: cleaned, brushed, restored, and always protected with an anti-woodworm treatment. Its grain, shapes, colors, and traces of time inspire the subject and guide the composition. The wood does not merely host the mosaic; it becomes an essential part of it, dialoguing with the artwork and completing it with its own story.

Materials: White italian stone of Nanto, Biancone Italian marble, antiqued and wavy Venetian white gold (24K gold leaf), recycled material.
