A fish shaped by the passage of time, born from the encounter between material, light, and memory.

Created on aged wood, the mosaic combines Venetian smalti, white and yellow Venetian gold, stone, marble, and artistic glass in an essential yet refined composition. In the tail, an antique knife from an old cutlery set finds a new identity; at the centre, a copper tube introduces a tactile, contemporary element.
An artwork with a clean and sophisticated aesthetic, where precious materials and fragments of the past are transformed into a unique, elegant, and timeless presence.

Each of my mosaics is born from an encounter with the wood: cleaned, brushed, restored, and always protected with an anti-woodworm treatment. Its grain, shapes, colors, and traces of time inspire the subject and guide the composition. The wood does not merely host the mosaic; it becomes an essential part of it, dialoguing with the artwork and completing it with its own story.
