An artwork in which material, light and the memory of the sea merge in a precious harmony. Handcrafted using Venetian smalti and artistic glass elements, the Red Lobster comes to life on a fragment of wood reclaimed from a shipyard, a bearer of authentic history.

The intense red of the Venetian smalti illuminates the composition with shifting reflections, enhancing its chromatic depth and the uniqueness of every detail.
Evoking transformation, resilience and renewal, the Red Lobster becomes an emblem of vitality and rebirth: a work in which the memory held within the material is transformed into a refined expression of art.

Each of my mosaics is born from an encounter with the wood: cleaned, brushed, restored, and always protected with an anti-woodworm treatment. Its grain, shapes, colors, and traces of time inspire the subject and guide the composition. The wood does not merely host the mosaic; it becomes an essential part of it, dialoguing with the artwork and completing it with its own story.
