A vibrant and tactile work created in mosaic on an antique wooden board, still carrying its original pearl-grey finish.

Rainbow Fish is composed of intense, luminous colours, enriched by precious touches of Venetian yellow gold, which defines the eye and gives depth and character to its gaze.
The fish, a symbol of abundance, freedom and transformation, becomes here a celebration of vitality: an explosion of colour that brings energy, beauty and a sense of wonder to the space it inhabits.

Each of my mosaics is born from an encounter with the wood: cleaned, brushed, restored, and always protected with an anti-woodworm treatment. Its grain, shapes, colors, and traces of time inspire the subject and guide the composition. The wood does not merely host the mosaic; it becomes an essential part of it, dialoguing with the artwork and completing it with its own story.
