This small yellow fish comes to life on a shaped piece of wood, enriched with Venetian enamels, artistic glass, and ceramics. The fin and tail, created with thin electrical wires, add a contemporary touch to an ancient technique like mosaic.

The fish, long a symbol of rebirth, movement, and freedom, is here dressed in yellow: a color that evokes light, energy, and the courage to follow one’s own direction. In this piece, yellow becomes an invitation to trust intuition, to illuminate one’s path, and to swim toward what makes the soul vibrate.

Each of my mosaics is born from an encounter with the wood: cleaned, brushed, restored, and always protected with an anti-woodworm treatment. Its grain, shapes, colors, and traces of time inspire the subject and guide the composition. The wood does not merely host the mosaic; it becomes an essential part of it, dialoguing with the artwork and completing it with its own story.
