Created on an old wooden board, worn smooth by time and brushed with shades of blue like the sea, this artwork combines reclaimed materials, artistic glass, geodes, and stones using the mosaic technique to bring to life two white jellyfish suspended in a dreamlike space. Venetian enamels shimmer among the textures, evoking light, movement, and depth.

Jellyfish, creatures as fascinating as they are mysterious, hold deep esoteric meaning: symbols of transformation, sensitivity, and silent endurance, they remind us of the beauty of adaptation and the strength found in vulnerability. Without brain or heart, yet able to navigate the currents of life with grace, they embody trust in the flow of events and the subtle power of feminine energy.
White as ethereal presences, these jellyfish become spirit guides of the subconscious, messengers from the marine depths of the unconscious. Their dance invites the observer to let go, to feel, to transform. It is a hymn to lightness, and to the resilience hidden within apparent fragility.
This piece is born from the meeting of ancient materials and contemporary vision, of human gesture and symbolic force. A meditative mosaic to be contemplated like a window into the deep.

Each of my mosaics is born from an encounter with the wood: cleaned, brushed, restored, and always protected with an anti-woodworm treatment. Its grain, shapes, colors, and traces of time inspire the subject and guide the composition. The wood does not merely host the mosaic; it becomes an essential part of it, dialoguing with the artwork and completing it with its own story.
